So join us for another great Sunday message!!
Fellowship Hosting This Sunday
This Sunday it’s our turn to supply the refreshments for our fellowship time in the Parlor at FCC. Though we usually do this the second Sunday, we will be doing this on the fourth Sundays in October and November. We will gratefully accept any food contribution you would like to make, typically in the form of light snacks, baked goods or fruit. Fellowship is at 11:00-11:45 so please come early and join us as we share time and treats with the other congregations.
Meditation Before Sunday Services:
Join us at 11:00 am for a 20 minute meditation in the Eden Room. This is a great way to clear your mind and be grounded prior to our regular service. Diana Gildea will facilitate our weekly meditations.
Affirm with us:
I am grateful for the gifts of each moment.

We believe that all people are created with sacred worth. Therefore we recognize the importance of serving all people within the Unity family in spiritually and emotionally caring ways. We strive to reach out to all who seek Unity support and spiritual growth. Our spiritual community is free of discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, creed, national origin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
The Courage To Imagine
The 2018 Unity yearly theme is The Courage to Imagine. It is through the power of imagination that we can transform our lives. Whatever outcome we envision, we can achieve. Using this gift, we can release limiting thoughts and realize our divine potential.
The 5 Basic Principles of Unity Teachings
Unity encourages you to explore and apply Unity teachings based on your own spiritual understanding. We believe this spiritual understanding is enhanced through reflective prayer and meditation. The five basic ideas that make up the Unity belief system are: 1) God is the source and creator of all. There is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere. 2) We are spiritual beings, created in God’s image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good. 3) We create our life experiences through our way of thinking. 4) There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God. 5) Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them.
Do You Know About the 12 Powers?
The Twelve Powers are core abilities within each of us that we are using whether we know it or not. We consciously use them to handle every life situation so we can be the best we can be. Each of our Twelve Powers has a focused use and purpose, and we use them together, in concert, to master the art of living. They are faith, strength, wisdom, love, power, imagination, understanding, will, order, zeal, elimination, and life.- Rev. Kelly Isola
Our Unity Prayer Request Box
We encourage you to make a list of all of your prayer concerns for both yourself and others, and to put it in the prayer request box either before or after the service on Sundays. Prayer requests will be sent on to Silent Unity where they will also be prayed about every day for 30 days. Feel free to bring a new prayer list every Sunday.
